Taunton Machine Knitting Club meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:30pm from March to November each year.
Machine knitting is becoming rarer so we are very lucky to have such an excellent set of members travelling some distances (Croyde, Honiton, Minehead, Clevedon, Tiverton, Burnham and Street) to meet in Comeytrowe Community Hall. We mainly provide monthly demonstrations amongst ourselves but whenever possible get in visiting speakers. Twice a year we run Saturday workshops and in November 2018, we will be having our third annual weekend away to knit and knit and knit…..
Some of us belong to the Guild of Machine Knitters and we use a range of different machines. Our ages range from 20 to 90 and we have a male member too.
