Our second successful quiz night of 2019 took place on Saturday 28 September, with just under 100 people coming along enjoying a lively evening with great prizes and food, and a number of people popping over to the shop to replenish their drink supplies! The questions covered a wide variety of subjects with the winning score of 129/160 beating their second place rivals by just 8 points. Look out for information about our future quiz nights!
All of the proceeds from the evening will go towards the ongoing running of the Hall and any improvements we can make as well. An example of this was the recent refurbishment of the kitchen in the Main Hall, with stainless steel catering units and new fittings and fixtures replacing old units over 30 years old!
The quiz night was planned and run by a small group of volunteers from the Hall Management Committee and Paul being our quiz master for the evening made this event great fun for a lot of people, if you would like to get involved in the future and volunteer your time to help us with future activities or just in supporting the regular running of the hall, please drop us a line on our Contact page.

The Comeytrowe Table Tennis Club hosted an excellent quiz night in January to brighten up a cold winter’s evening and raise some funds to support the club.
So many people came along to join in, answer questions, win some fantastic prizes, eat some tasty hotdogs and most importantly for one team – win the coveted Winners Scroll!
